Coldspringharbour

Cold Spring Harbor is the first solo album by Billy Joel, it was released in late 1971.  The album is named after a hamlet of the same name, in the Town of Huntington, a seaside community near Joel's hometown.  It was released by Artie Ripp's Family Productions, but through an error in the album's mastering, the songs were slightly too fast, up one half step, causing Joel's voice to sound high and reedy.
